The School Management Monitoring & Evaluation (SMM&E) Section under the School Governance & Operations Division (SGOD) of the Schools Division Office (SDO) of DepEd Pampanga conducted the pre - Monitoring, Evaluation and Plan Adjustment (MEPA) and MEPA proper for the first quarter of 2019 last April 15-16, 2019 at Klir Waterpark Resort & Hotels in Sta. Rita, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
The activity aimed to validate the 1st quarter accomplishments presented and reported by the different support divisions/units/sections and consolidate said accomplishments, after the offices’ workshop and finalization of quarter 1 achievements. The three support division’s programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) are to be aligned to the Office Performance Commitment Review Form (OPCRF) objectives of the SDO for finalization of the 1st quarter division MEPA report to be presented at the Regional Office.
Gracing the occasion are OIC – Assistant Schools Division Superintendent (ASDS) in the elementary, Mam Rowena T. Quiambao, CESE, Curriculum & Implementation Division (CID) Chief Dr. Celia R. Lacanlale, SGOD chief Dr. Arceli S. Lopez, and the unit heads and other representatives from the three offices and different sections/units in the SDO.
The new template for MEPA reporting which lumped the previous forms into one template, was presented by SMM&E Education Program Specialist – II, Mam Michelle D. Mejia, who discussed the process, tool, and indicators for reporting. Immediately after her presentation, the participants worked on the accomplishments of their respective sections/units, based on their Key Reform Areas (KRAs) and mandates/office functions.
The presentation and validation of accomplishments for the first quarter of the current year was done the following day with the chiefs of SGOD and CID and the unit heads under the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS) reporting the status of implementation of their respective offices, as consolidated by their teams during day 1 of the activity. Issues and concerns and instructive examples based on experience or the lessons learned from planned outputs were reported, including the facilitating and hindering factors.
The physical accomplishments of the support divisions, based on the KRAs of the Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Leonardo D. Zapanta, CESO VI, will be reported by Mam Rowena T. Quiambao, CESE, in the forthcoming Regional DMEA presentation on May 10, 2019.
DMEPA covers the intermediate results of the individual, team, and organizational effectiveness, as well as the availability and adequacy of resource requirements.
The DMEPA technology ensures performance accountability of the SDO and fulfillment of the quality policy and objectives.
